Abstract

We report a 41-year-old man who developed intracranial hypotension without any causative history. The site of the CSF leakage was identified at between the C1 to C2 level using magnetic resonance myelography. Spine MRI demonstrated hyperacute stage of spinal subdural hematoma between C4 to T8 level. We failed relieving his symptoms by supportive management such as analgesics and autologous blood patch. Consequently, the patient underwent a dural repair at the C1-C2 level and his symptoms were relieving gradually.
